Q: If I'm not a Neuroscience major, can I still join NSCSAS?
A: Yes, absolutely! Majors don't matter, we welcome anybody who is interested in neuroscience and cognitive science. Even if you're not interested in neuroscience but enjoy the events and company of people at NSCSAS, we still welcome you!
Q: What kind of events does NSCSAS hold?
A: We hold a variety of events, but they all fall under 3 categories: Social, Outreach, and Professional. This can include hiking Picacho Peak, volunteering at a mobility clinic, or hosting resume workshops.
Q: I'm not interested in medicine / I'm not a pre-med student, can I still join?
A: Of course! NSCSAS is not a pre-med club. While there are events that tailor to students on the medical track, there are many other events tailored to those on research and industry tracks as well. There are NSCSAS alumni in graduate school, patent law, computer science and plenty of other fields outside of medicine. This club represents the interests of the entire NSCS major, NOT any one subsection.

Q: Are there any virtual accommodations for NSCSAS events/meetings? If so, how will I know?

By filling out the form, you notify an officer of your request and they will respond via email as soon as they are available.
