Mackenzie Lynch: Hi all! I'm a Senior with a major in NSCS. My hometown is Helena, MT. My favorite thing about NSCSAS is that you get to apply for a board internship and learn more about what it is like to run a club! I love running, swimming, and going out to dinner with my friends! My favorite place to eat in Tucson is North Italia. I plan to take a gap year after undergrad (I need a break) then apply to clinical psychology PhD programs!
Amanda Feng: Hey y'all! I'm a senior majoring in NSCS. My hometown is Anthem Arizona. I love a lot of things about NSCSAS, but what I love the most are the friends and connections I have made through the club. I have made some lifelong friends through NSCSAS and I am eternally grateful for being a part of a community that loves and cares for its members. I enjoy going to the gym, hanging out with friends and going to hockey games! In Tucson, I love eating at El Güero canelo and Noodleholics. For the future, I’m either taking a gap year working at an autism clinic or ideally doing a postbacc program abroad!
Arpita Gulati: Hello! I am a senior with a major in NSCS. My hometown is Dayton, Ohio. I love the connection in NSCSAS! The club focusing on professional development, social, and outreach opportunities, helped me get involved in several ways freshman year. I love weightlifting, sewing, and dancing salsa and bachata. I’m definitely taking a gap year (I also desperately need a break) then applying to MD and MD/PhD programs!
Danieh Alani: Hi all! I am a junior double majoring in NSCS and Psychology. My hometown is Glendale, AZ. My favorite thing has been the community I found within NSCSAS as well as meeting some lifelong friends!! The support I have found within this club has been incredible and I’m looking forward to meeting all the new members this year! I love reading, gaming, going to the gym, and going on walks with friends! I love taking photos and trying out new restaurants, especially brunch places! Some of my favorites are Ghini’s French Cafe as well as Caffe Passe! In the future, I am planning on applying to an MD program!
Daveena Biswas: Hi! I am a junior majoring in NSCS. My hometown is Tucson, AZ. I am grateful to have been a part of NSCSAS up until now! I have been able to meet some of my closest friends through the club, and overall found a sense of community here on campus. The community aspect that this club fosters is definitely one of my favorite things about NSCSAS! I also love that NSCSAS puts on a lot of really fun and unique events and opportunities to get involved in, there’s always something for everyone! I love listening to podcasts, especially true crime, and finding new music artists, volleyball, and line dancing. I also really enjoy exploring Tucson (even though I was born here), and trying new restaurants/cafes. My favorite restaurant is probably Mi Nidito. I plan to apply to medical school in the future.
Victor Sandrin: Greetings! I am a junior with a double major in NSCS and Biosystems Analytics. My hometown is Glendale, AZ. My favorite thing about NSCSAS is the welcoming community and the opportunity for involvement in event planning for everyone in the club. I am into basketball, bass guitar, and any creative/active hobbies I can try! I will eat at any restaurant or food truck on 4th Avenue, I think it’s the best dining in the nation. I plan to apply to grad school for a master’s in counseling or a biotech-related degree,or search for a biotech industry job!
Mihir Shah: Hi y'all! I am a junior majoring in NSCS. My hometown is Scottsdale, AZ. I love to play music, cook, and hike. Some of my favorite hiking spots are Sabino Canyon and Tumamoc. I also love to play pickleball and volleyball. And after some time on the court, I love to try new places to eat around town, with Vero Amore being my current favorite. I plan on applying to Medical School in the future.
